Welcome to Boulder! What did the hippie say when asked to leave Boulder? Nahh,ma stay! 

 

Get it!.. Na.. ma.. Stay!! .. like the yoga phrase...ha.. now THAT is comedy!! I’ll give you guys a second to stop ROTFLing.. K good.  So.. fun fact, Boulder was actually a choice destination for hippies in the late 1960’s. Since then it frequently receives high ranking in art, health, well-being, quality of life and education… by high ranking.. I mean.. The HIGHEST ranking.. Recently Boulder was ranked the number one happiest city, brainiest city, city to live well in, city to raise an outdoor kid in and my favorite… America’s foodiest town!!  Mmmm.  

 

Boulder is home to a couple different annual runs.. Racing runs of course.. Not the uhh other kind of runs people get.. Anyways so the Bolder Boulder is held on Memorial Day every year and is one of the largest road races in the world! The race attracts over 50,000 competitors and has the largest non-marathon prize purse in the world.. See another #1 for Boulder! I feel more confident already just driving through this winning city! Ok so the other run is called the pumpkin run.. The …uhh.. NAKED.. Pumpkin run… soo I think the naked part is pretty self explanatory.. But what do they do with the pumpkin!? Any idea?

If you answered A, you must put a pumpkin on your head and run around naked quite often.. You’d fit right in!  The rather.. Unique.. event started in 1998 and has dwindled to just a handful of participants due to .. well.. Maybe the fact that it’s ILLEGAL!!
