Thanks for your patience folks, We had to get the legal stuff out of the way...ok, so now, look south of the highway...see the huge fields?  it's a concert, camping and special events center known as Burl's Creek Event Grounds! Right here in Oro-*Medonte, 585 acres of pristine open green space!...it's the largest outdoor music venue in Canada!

 

They've hosted the WayHome Music & Arts Festival, Boots and Hearts Music Festival,..Artists like Neil Young, Kendrick Lamar, Alt J, Imagine Dragons, Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton, and Tim McGraw have all played there! Oh, and I’m not sure if you’ve heard of them, but a little band by the name of the Rolling freaking’ Stones!   Burl's Creek has also long hosted The Big Feastival Canada, Huronia Fur and Feathers Swap Sale, and the long-running Spring and Fall Barrie Automotive Flea Markets. 

 

And on Friday's in the summer: OK Friday Farmer’s Market! a dynamic, community driven, true farmer’s market offering a wide range of farm fresh produce and a variety of ready-to-eat items, alongside local bakeries, artisanal producers, and craft makers.  People stop here....and never want to leave! Visit at your own risk! Farming is big here in Canada! We're a huge agricultural exporter: we're the worlds largest grower of flax seed, canola and much more.
