If you take a look to the left across the road, you’ll see a huge glass building! That’s the Devonian Gardens! The gardens are essentially a massive greenhouse, technically called a botanical garden, devoting three indoor acres to trees, waterfalls, and plants.
Since they first opened in 1977, the Gardens have undergone some serious renovations. In fact, the whole facility was closed for four years between 2008 and 2012 to undergo a facelift, which included the installation of a gigantic three-block long skylight! Sounds more like a face...light to me.
The Devonian Gardens are home to 550 trees, thousands of plants, a 900 square foot living wall, and a huge koi pond!
If you’re not quite so green fingered, don’t worry! You’ll also find plenty of restaurants and shops on the floors below the Gardens! If you've got some time, I recommend checking it out!
