Alright my gaggle of friendly road trippin’ folks, get ready for THE best Tripvia Topic on this entire tour! Ready? Of course now.. We need some epic music first..  If you’re travelling north-east, the town of Frisco should be visible now; if you’re travelling south-west, you should be able to see it soon. What’s so special about Frisco?? Well, it just happens to be home to THE state BBQ challenge… awkward pause.. Diiiiiid you guys hear me?? THE official Colorado state BBQ challenge… crickets… well I guess I’m the only one who literally starts salivating at the mention of BBQ then hey!! 

 

Well, to top it off, surrounding Frisco are four major ski resorts — Copper Mountain, Breckenridge, Keystone, and the Arapahoe Basin.  So good news, you guys can go skiing instead of sitting around watching me eat my 6th plate of ribs! 

 

Frisco was founded by Henry Recen during the area’s mining boom in the 1880s. Oh, and back to the BBQ challenge, it doesn’t just cater to BBQ lovers like me.. The event also benefits non-profit organizations in the area, having raised over $500,000!

 

Ok ok, enough about the BBQ challenge, promise.  So Frisco is home to the Frisco Adventure Park, a wonderful place jam packed with fun year long activities like biking, skating, wagon rides, and disco golf!

 

During the wagon rides, adventure seekers are taken to an old fashioned.. Uh… something.. What do you think it is? Is it an old-fashioned,
