There are few things in life more satisfying than relaxing and having fun with your friends or loved ones… maybe it’s at the beach... maybe it’s getting some exercise… maybe it’s shooting them with a tiny ball full of paint and watching them squirm around as the sting wears off..  Seriously, if you haven’t tried this, you should, because it’s awesome... and oddly satisfying. Just make sure it’s in a professional environment with the right equipment. If you look to the South of the highway, you’ll see the perfect place to accomplish this, Prairie Storm Paintball.

 

If you're a history buff, you might recognize one of the fields visible from the highway as it’s a replica of one of the great battles Canadians fought in during World War 2.  Any idea what that battle was? Was it, 

 

1. Juno Beach

2. Operation Battleaxe or

3. The Battle of Passchendaele?

 

If you answered A, you must be pretty buff!!  Historically buff of course! I have no idea if you're physically buff, it’s not like I can see you or anything, that would be way too creepy! …… I do like your shirt though…

 

Anyways Juno Beach was one of five important battles that took place during the Normandy landings, also known as D-Day on June 6, 1944.  Taking the beach was up to the Canadian Army, with transportation and naval bombardment support from the Royal Canadian Navy. Prairie Storm Paintball hosts an annual World War 2 game that has been running for over 7 years and draws hundreds of players from all over Canada!
