Welcome to the sisters legacy statue. The work of art features two Catholic sisters in cast bronze and was sculpted by prince Albert artist Jack Jensen. One of the sisters represents a teacher, and the other a nurse.
The monument commemorates the courage and commitment of religious women across Saskatchewan who established needed health and education services in their local communities. This helped lay the foundation for the modern day services in the province.
