Welcome to the Willow island overlook. Aside from being a pretty awesome observation spot looking over the lake, it also acts as the main ferry boat loading dock for willow island. The overlook is also known for it's echo. If you go to the top level and stand directly on the water drain, then speak forward, you'll hear a private echo!
I'm sure you're wondering what a private echo is, well, a private echo is one that is almost totally unnoticeable to others standing nearby. Try it out, however be careful because the overlook is also rumored to be home to 2 ghosts.
As the first ghost story goes, one man was said to have jumped off the overlook, got stuck in the mud and drowned. A rotting smell is said to still resonate from the spot where the man drowned.
The second ghost is said to be an apparition of a little girl. She's been seen from the overlook, sitting on the dock at the island.
Well that's creepy, maybe we should get going?
