Audio Excerpt

You know what I say when I'm hiking out in the beautiful Canadian swamps and marshes?  I say,... I love being bayou!....get it? Bayou!? I'm gonna write that one down.

Don's...Best...Dad...Jokes. Ok,

About 20 minutes North West of here, just East of Midland is Wye Marsh.  Wye Marsh? Because we said so! Ha! ...write Down Too....

The North East Corner of Wye Lake is the site known as Sainte-Marie Among the Hurons...a Jesuit missionary outpost with a rich history.  Now, established in 1969,

Wye Marsh became a wildlife center, with a Trumpeter Swan breeding program!

They monitor one-third of all Trumpter Swans in Ontario! Explore Wye Marsh by discovering raptors and reptiles in the interpretive display hall, hike, canoe, kayak, visit the observation tower, walk on floating boardwalks, and in the winter, cross country ski and snowshoe.
